We sit in the West Coast development, one big contemporary room with two moods. One half is built around the timber bar, all reclaimed posts, rattan pendants and low light. The other is smarter: round marble-topped tables with lazy Susans, quilted leather chairs and carved screens. Wherever you sit, the idea is the same. Order widely and pass the plates.
